Our adventure begins in the morning with a drive up to the island's highlands. From there, we'll venture into a geologically fascinating landscape.
The route takes us to the majestic Sierra Negra Volcano, home to the second-largest active volcanic caldera in the world. We'll hike around this enormous crater of roughly 30 square miles, enjoying spectacular panoramic views.
For the more adventurous, the experience can continue to Volcán Chico, a surreal setting where reds, oranges, yellows and blacks blend into a breathtaking volcanic landscape.
